Alessandra Hofmann is a German designer based in Basel , Switzerland. With an interdisciplinary design approach, her practice involves the creation of objects that deeply explore the notion of materiality and human perception. She is interested in the natural contingencies and reactions of materials such as textures and light reflections that emphasize a deeper perception. She embraces the natural process and outcome of an object that emerges partly like an accident.
